Was trying out a new green chili recipe today. It called for a 28-oz can of tomatillos. The store only had fresh tomatillos, no cans. I’d never had tomatillos and had no idea how to cook them. Ended up boiling them (after finding instructions via Google) and it worked pretty well. Next time I’ll try broiling in the oven.
