Review: Shady Characters: The Secret Life of Punctuation, Symbols, and Other Typographical Marks

Shady Characters: The Secret Life of Punctuation, Symbols, and Other Typographical Marks
Shady Characters: The Secret Life of Punctuation, Symbols, and Other Typographical Marks by Keith Houston
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was a delight! Such a neat idea, writing a book about those typographical characters we see all the time and don’t aways pay a lot of attention to. It’s easy to take them for granted. At first I thought it would be hard to get through the book, but the writing style is fun and engaging (the writer obviously loves the subject). Recommended, especially if you love typography!

    1. Sorry for the long delay in replying. It’s a great book and highly recommended, especially if you like typography and the history behind it.
