Open-Orbit now has its 12th layout up and running! There are tons of more features I want to add to it as time goes on, and I’ll probably still tweak the template for weeks down the road. This is good to start with, however.
I’m not finished adding back all the content. I’m doing that a little at a time. People have asked, both in emails and via comments here when the board will be back. It’s coming back, don’t worry. As soon as I move it to the new subdomain and portal system, we’ll all be posting once again. I’ll send out a mass email when it is up again. Until then, feel free to comment here as much as you like. Thanks and I really appreciate all of your patience!
Oh and BTW, my whooping cough bout is slowly but surely wearing away. Still coughing at random times but fewer and farther in between.
The new layout is amazing, I love the colors. Can’t wait til everything is up. Let me know if I can do anything to help when you move the boards. It sounds sooo scary…:o But I know you can do it!!!
Glad you’re feeling better. Whooping cough sounds terrible…hope no one here has it…anyway, so you decided to do the portal for the boards? You know how I felt about that, I just hope people use it. It would be horrible for you to go through all that work installing it and it just stagnates because no one takes the time to use it. But good luck with the installation anyway! What subdomain URL ended up winning?
Michelle, I posted about this on open-orbit.com, and I thought I’d post it here too just to make sure you get it – when I tried to click a smiley face when commenting, it took me to a 404 page saying the file couldn’t be found.

Hi Michelle! Long time no see! I looked at your site and I love the new look. Morgan, I don’t think she’s reinstalling the board. I think she’s just moving it to a new spot with a quicker address. I don’t know what that all involves however, so I could be wrong!
And Michelle, I’m so sorry to hear you’ve been sick. I wasn’t feeling so hot myself this weekend. Something is definately going around.

Morgan: We’re not reinstalling the boards, we’re moving them to a subdomain, like Lauren said in her comment. Furthermore, the board will be integrated with a new portal that will really allow it to feel more like a community. Get excited! 8)
